Before you send a demand
Pre-send review
Direct answer
The pre-send review is the last opportunity to fix a demand cheaply. It checks four things: that no implied record is missing, that every treatment interval is explained, that every claimed figure reconciles to an attached document, and that every assertion in the narrative resolves to an exhibit page.

The four checks
01
Completeness
Compare providers, referrals and billed services against documents held.
02
Continuity
Identify every interval and attach its documented explanation.
03
Reconciliation
Tie the specials, wage and out-of-pocket totals to the attachments.
04
Support
Walk each factual assertion in the narrative to a cited page.
Cost of finding it later
| When the problem is found | Cost |
|---|---|
| Before sending | A records request and a short delay |
| During carrier review | A discounted evaluation on an incomplete file |
| After an offer | Renegotiation from a weaker position |
Before You Send™ inside NORBU
NORBU runs these checks against the assembled file and returns an itemized report: missing documents with the reference that implies them, intervals with any documented explanation, unreconciled figures with both amounts, and assertions whose support could not be located. Every item is for attorney review.
Note
NORBU reports observations. It does not decide whether to send.

FAQ
Common questions
- Who should run the pre-send review?
- Whoever owns the file operationally, with attorney sign-off on the open items. The value comes from the review being a gate rather than an option.
NORBU Demand provides analytical support for counsel. It does not determine legal value, predict settlement outcomes, or provide legal advice. Every observation is presented for attorney review.
